The short version
I started out as a so-called blogger in 2015 using this website and other social media platforms to promote happiness and positivity. Then my focus shifted as I was approached by a few clothing brands to represent and promote their merchandise. The clothing brands I represented donated to charity, so I felt like my mission to bring happiness to others and make a difference was still on the right track. I needed to take my own pictures to follow through with my collaborations and so my photography journey began. As I did this I learned more about the ins and outs of social media marketing and started feeling like my photography was inadequate. When I came to this realization I decided that I was worrying too much about what other people thought about my photography, I was trying to take pictures based on what the brands wanted, instead of keeping my photography original. I had gotten so wrapped up in being a brand representative that I had lost myself in the process. So I took a social media break for a year. I learned so much that year, about the kind of person I want to be. I found the importance of being myself and doing my photography my own way. After a year I came back and have been loving taking all the pictures. Especially those around my local Ogden Utah neighborhood. I have big plans and get overly ambitious sometimes but keep following along because one day my ambitions will become realities.
